Though the kings of social network are Facebook and Twitter, this coming year, there would be significant advertise increase on YouTube, LinkedIn, and Foursquare of about 20%.
Currently, about two-thirds of the companies are marketing in social media, but people are expecting this number to increase significantly this upcoming year; success rates of these marketing is about 54%. The most used is Facebook followed by Twitter. But while YouTube and others are receiving more advertisement, other sites such as MySpace are losing their support.
So what’s the sudden change in companies’ minds to advertise outside their comfort zone? I guess that is exactly why. They want to experiment and advertise outside their comfort zone, hoping that they are going to hit a gold mine.
