Google+ traffic has fallen about 3% compared to last week, with average time spent on the website of 5 minutes and 15 seconds, but why?
The biggest problem it seems is that many people are unfamiliar with the new site. With average time spent on the website only a little over 5 minutes, people are not putting the time and effort to learn and use the system. As one person pointed out, Google+ is offering some very interest things that he only found out after putting in a considerable amount of time in it, and he is learning more!
Another problem is the fact that many people were interested by the Google+ hype, and once they were in it, none of their friends were in it. Many people are sticking it with Facebook because people upload and use it more often than Google+.
Some points out that Google+ is different than Facebook, how Facebook is different from Twitter. Some say that it is natural for the traffic to go down; it can’t always go up. Now it is up to Google to decide the fate of Google+.
