The rumor on the street is that Apple, along with other companies, are trying to buy Hulu. With Netflix’s new plan of having stream only, leading to price increase for many viewers, Hulu Plus was their alternative. According to Business Insider, “the price for the premium online service could reach $2 billion.” With many bidders like Apple, Yahoo, Walt Disney and more (Microsoft dropped out), the price could go beyond the estimated 2 billion dollars.
Some people are concerned, but some people welcome the idea of Apple buying Hulu. Those who are concerned are thinking that Apple might change Hulu and its service. On the other side, they believe Apple will take Hulu to the next level, offering something that people had not seen before. But again, this is just a rumor.
