To Infinity and Beyond

If you ask any person working at a local animal shelter, people submitting lost pet signs are an everyday occurrence. It is such a commonplace occurrence that employees may grow accustomed to pet owners coming in to post up a sign on the lost pets bulletin board. But to the owner of that pet, it's not commonplace. Such a sign signals an episode of hopelessness, of despair, of the quiet anger from losing someone that you love. Well, one of our very own staff, Ms. Jennifer Le was recently plunged into such a situation.

She tried the usual channels – posting signs on telephone poles and lampposts, letting her friends and neighbors know, alerting the animal shelter but it wasn't enough. However, a co-worker, Ms. Jo Marie Varela, was able to pick up on her distress in the office, and offered to help her search for her little Bambino. After a few hours of detective work, the dynamic duo managed to locate the little pup, near the freeway underpass, of all places.

So what's the point of this story? Would Jennifer have found her dog without her coworker's help? Maybe, maybe not. However, that's not the point. The point is that at Carney, we do things different than the average firm. Jo went above and beyond her duty as a fellow coworker and helped Jennifer look for her pup during their lunch break, regardless of whether they were going to have any luck finding the dog. Also, jeans were ruined!

When you market through the usual channels, you may get some results. But if you market with Carney, you'll be sure to have someone that will go the extra mile for you. We'll search every nook and cranny to link you to whoever you need to be linked to. Who's going to be looking for your Bambino? Carney is. Heck, we'll even check the freeway underpass if necessary.
